Hana Sato

Research and Data Editor

Shipping-line rate modelling, warehouse-fee data, and agent-timing records.

Hana Sato builds the tables behind SugarGooKakoBuy's comparisons, recording every quote, weight and transit time from test orders. Order material becomes rate tables and timing charts, with quotes saved at order placement, warehouse arrival and payment. Transit scans, delivery dates and surcharges are logged alongside models of cost per kilogram and cost per litre for each line. A line is flagged when its quoted price and final invoice differ by more than 5%, keeping the quote, final charge and shipping record linked within the comparison.

How I test

Hana records quotes at three points: order placement, warehouse arrival and payment. Transit scans, delivery dates and any surcharge are logged, then cost per kilogram and cost per litre are modelled for each line. Lines whose quoted price and final invoice differ by more than 5% are flagged.
