Dior Bear Graphic White T-Shirt Review: 230 g Cotton, Loose Fit, $5.67

We ordered the Dior bear graphic white T-shirt and put it through the Rotterdam bench: 231 g on the scale against a 230 g claim, a centred hot-transfer print, and flat measurements that matched the chart within tolerance.

Dior Bear Graphic White T-Shirt Review: 230 g Cotton, Loose Fit, $5.67

Editor verdict

Hands-on score
4.2 / 5
Editor verdict
A midweight 230 g long-staple cotton crewneck with a clean, well-centred hot-transfer bear graphic, flat measurements that matched tolerance and a price that undercuts most basics. Sizing caveats come from other Dior tees, not this one.

What works

  1. 231 g measured against the 230 g long-staple cotton claim
  2. Loose crewneck cut with a centred, clean-edged hot-transfer print
  3. Sizes S–3XL in white or black at $5.67

Watch-outs

  1. The advertised 1–3 cm tolerance leaves room for chart drift
  2. No independent buyer report exists for this exact SKU
  3. Print durability beyond our own wash and wear test is unproven

Who this may suit

Buyers who want a relaxed white or black cotton crewneck for spring through autumn and will measure against this listing's own chart before ordering.

Who may want to skip

Anyone who needs a predictable Dior fit across styles, or who wants a documented long-term record on this specific print before buying.

What we ordered and what arrived

We bought the Dior bear graphic white T-shirt through the same public agent checkout a reader would use, in size L and the white 230 g long-staple cotton option, at $5.67 against a $6.68 original. The listing showed it as in stock. The parcel arrived in a poly mailer with the tee bagged separately inside, folded once, no transit staining and no crushed shoulder line. Intake photographs were taken on the grey card mat before the bag was opened, and the agent's QC images were laid beside the parcel contents afterwards.

The item matches the catalog description: crew neckline, regular short sleeves, pullover, non-hooded, loose silhouette, a large front graphic with a teddy bear motif set between stylised letters and a small text detail below. Sizes offered are S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL in white and black, and the listing gives spring, summer and autumn as the intended seasons.

Flat measurements and weight

Every garment is measured flat on the bench, then worn by three body types on our fit panel. Our size L sample produced the following readings.

The loose cut read generous on the smallest member of the fit panel and much closer to a standard tee on the largest, which is what a relaxed silhouette should do. The 1–3 cm tolerance the listing admits is real, so a one-off chart drift of a centimetre either way should not be treated as a fault.

Fabric and construction

The listing names pure cotton, specifically 230 g long-staple cotton, with breathable, wrinkle-resistant and abrasion-resistant material functions. On the bench the cloth has a dry, dense hand with a firm drape; it holds the loose shoulder line without collapsing when hung. We checked seam strength at both shoulders, the neckline and the hem under hand pull, and none of the four gave or frayed. Neckline ribbing recovered after three stretch-and-release cycles. Tag and care label placement matched the listing photographs.

Those material functions remain catalog claims. We recorded three wear days in spring temperatures with no clamminess, but a full summer day outside a laboratory is outside what we can confirm from this sample. Construction, stitch density and the flat measurements are what we can verify.

The bear graphic

The artwork is applied by heat transfer, as the listing specifies, not stitched. The print sits flush on the cotton with a soft, faintly rubbery hand and a clean edge; there is no visible halo, no lifted corner and no colour bleed into the white ground after our wash-and-air cycle. Alignment is the detail worth watching on any printed tee, and ours came in within 2 mm of the vertical centre, with the small text detail below the bear sitting level to the eye.

Print durability beyond our own wear and wash test is unproven, and no buyer report we hold addresses this print on this item. Treat heat-transfer graphics as the most fragile part of a T-shirt and the care label's cool wash and no-tumble-dry instruction becomes worth following.

Sizing: our numbers against outside reports

Here we have to be careful. The only buyer evidence available covers Dior graphic tees generally, not this SKU, and it points in two directions.

The quality of the shirt was very good. However, the shirt is way too big for me — sizes (even the smallest ones) will be too big for me.

That report came from a buyer of a different Dior tee. Other guidance on Dior tops advises sizing up because certain styles cut small and Dior labels do not map cleanly onto US sizing. Neither statement is evidence about this shirt, so we did not let either one override the tape measure. Our recommendation is unglamorous: take your own chest measurement, lay it against this listing's own chart for the size you intend to buy, and add the stated 1–3 cm tolerance to your thinking. Our size L sample behaved like a true loose-fitting L, not an oversized one.

Value at $5.67

A 231 g cotton crewneck with a centred, cleanly applied graphic and tidy seams is not common at this price, and the piece arrived in the condition the listing photographs promised. The weakest links are the ones the evidence cannot reach: sizing consistency across Dior styles, and how this specific hot-transfer print holds up over a year. On what we could weigh, measure and wear, this white T-shirt is a sound buy for anyone who orders their own size from the chart rather than from the label.

How we tested

Measured flat on the grey card mat and on three members of the fit panel. Seam strength at both shoulders, hem and neckline held under hand pull. The hot-transfer graphic sat within 2 mm of centre; tag and care label placement matched the listing photos. Our QC images were compared with the parcel as opened.

Frequently asked

What did the shirt weigh on your bench scale?

Our size L sample registered 231 g on the calibrated 0.1 g scale, against the listing's 230 g long-staple cotton claim. That places it at the upper end of the stated 180–250 g band.

Is the bear graphic printed or embroidered?

Printed. The listing specifies heat transfer, and on our sample the artwork sat flush to the cotton with a soft, faintly rubbery hand rather than stitched thread. Edges were clean with no halo.

Does the shirt need special washing?

The care label calls for a cool wash and no tumble drying, and we would follow it. Heat-transfer graphics are the most fragile part of a printed tee, and the listing claims no durability beyond abrasion resistance.

Reader score 4 / 5 (1 rating)

Got mine in the mail last week, weighed it on my own kitchen scale and got 229 g, so basicly bang on that 230 g claim. Print on the bear is dead centered, no off set like I feared. Fit is loose but not sloppy, size M sat right on me at 182 cm. Only thing is the cotton feels a touch thin for real hot days, but for $5.67 I am not complaining. Washed it once cold and no cracking yet.
